About the book

A clearer path through America’s founding documents.

The Constitution…Simplified is designed to be readily understood by those who want to learn the Declaration of Independence and/or the US Constitution. The format uses diagrams, lists, summaries, and sketches on one page with explanatory notes on the facing page. Antiquated words, legal jargon, and long sentences are replaced with paraphrased Modern English. The Preamble, and every Article, Section, Clause, & Amendment are included.

The larger-than-normal print size, wide margins, & minimal text make this an “easy-on-the-eyes” read. Chapter Review Quizzes (“Games”) are included for the reader to gauge progress. The big picture is never buried by detail.

Reader audience includes all US Citizens, both minimally & highly educated, from middle school homeschoolers to academia, politicians, civil servants, lawyers, military, moms, dads, and both blue & white collar workers.

These two founding documents assure our God-given rights, with the purpose of the government to protect those rights. The structure of State & Federal powers is balanced to minimize the chance of any one part seizing full control, as we see is typical in all other countries other than Israel.

Understanding these documents instills a great appreciation of our freedoms.

This book is an educational reading companion and does not replace the official text or legal advice.
